Just announced and really bad news for the 97 thousand workers on New York’s Broadway is that the lights will not be going on until at least 30 May 2021. Washington Monument is OPEN
A tweet from the National Park Service announces that the Washington Monument on the National Mall is open again to visitors. Only advanced reservations from recreation.gov are accepted with no walk ups allowed. This is the first time that the Monument has welcomed visitors since March 2020 due to the Coronavirus Pandemic.
