Las Vegas – MGM Resorts to Re-start Live Entertainment

It has been almost eight months since the bright lights of Las Vegas last had a live show on the famous Strip. An announcement from MGM Resorts is putting a change to the darkness.

Starting next month the hotel chain will start to bring back live entertainment starting with Las Vegas regular David Copperfield (MGM Grand). The date announced is November 6 as team members and MGM guests will see the curtains rise for the first time in what has been a very long time.

There are going to be Covid-19 State imposed restrictions with limited numbers allowed in larger theatres to allow social distancing. The State of Nevada mandates that there is at least 25ft between the stage and audience. The capacity crowd is capped at 250 patrons.

Other names due to appear are comedian Carrot Top (Luxur), Brad Garrett’s Comedy Club hosted by the former ‘Everybody Loves Raymond’ star Ray Ramano (MGM Grand – Studio A & B Ballrooms),The Australian Bee Gees (Excalibur) and Thunder from Down Under (Excalibur).
