Virgin Atlantic wouldn’t let me check in online which was rather puzzling. I had to see a Virgin representative at the airport, was I going to be upgraded as a surprise thank you for being such a loyal subject over the years? No I had been selected for extra security checks. As I am currently through airport security in the shopping extravaganza that is in Terminal 3 I suspect that I am in for a grilling at the gate.

Anyway I am here killing time in an uncomfortable black chair. I had my sandwich and a coffee, checked out the crazy prizes in the stores and finally got the WiFi to connect.

Speak the other side….I arrive at 18.25 and then picking up the rental car and then I have about 30 minutes to drive on US 1 to Danvers. I am about to be in my ‘happy place’!!
