Christmassy Cities to Visit

I came across a list of the most Christmassy cities across the States, some are obvious choices and others seem quite random…that is unless you are part of the planning committee. I think that America does Christmas fantastically and somehow it seems genuine and that effort and thought is put into the spectacle. By State Alabama – Huntsville – See Santa’s Village at the Train … Continue reading Christmassy Cities to Visit

Visitors flock to the centre of Florida to make homage to the multiple theme parks and associated tourist attractions that have been set up to capture this constant flow of visitors. Personally I must have visited the area over a … Continue reading Florida or just Orlando

St Augustine – Florida

Although I have seen many iconic and instantly recognisable landmarks across the United States I have discovered some really interesting gems by going along the ‘road less travelled’. History would have us believe in the UK, that Jamestown in Virginia was the first English colony established in the new country and Colonial Williamsburg the first town. We are all reminded of the Pilgrims landing in … Continue reading St Augustine – Florida
