Exciting things are happening in Central Florida and Orlando with the construction of Universal’s Epic Universe due to open in 2025. This is going to be a completely separate Theme Park located about three miles from the rest of the Universal Studios Florida Resort. There will be shuttles provided between the parks but there won’t be any access from the main parking garage that currently gives guests access to the other theme parks and City Walk.
Guests will enter Celestial Park with access to the other lands through portals which are tall obelisk structures that you will walk through into the next immersive and fully themed worlds.
The Wizarding World of Harry Potter — Ministry of Magic both the British Ministry of Magic and the French Ministry of Magic from the Magic Beasts franchise.
Super Nintendo World – Be immersed in the games you play
How to Train Your Dragon — Isle of Berk
Dark Universe – Classic Universal Studios Monsters
The backdrop to the new park will have three brand new hotels. The jewel in the crown is the Universal Helios Grand with 500 rooms and a dedicated entrance into the park. The other hotels are Universal Stella Nova Resort and Universal Terra Luna Resort both with 750 rooms. The Stella Nova opens in January 2025 and the Terra Luna follows shortly after in February 2025.
Harry Potter’s wizarding fans currently experience Hogsmeade Universal’s Islands of Adventure and Diagon Alley in Universal Studios and it seems that they will remain open whilst the Epic Universe will be for both Harry Potter and Magical Beasts fans.
The images look stunning and it is sure to be huge at launch time. The estimate though at the more conservative end for accommodation and park entry is $500 per night with the Helios rumoured to be $900 per room per night. It seems that entry to Epic Adventure is going to be only by purchasing a multi-day pass. Currently a three park pass purchasable in the UK is £349 per adult and £339 for children under 9 years old.
