‘For the People!’ is a caption that t.v viewers in Florida are all too familiar with. It seems that almost every advert break (and there are many) on t.v has individuals telling you that they received large payouts after hiring one particular legal firm who started in 1988 in Orlando. Billboards hugging the scenery with the firms advertising are everywhere so there is little chance that you don’t know who I am referring to.
So the story goes, that an unfortunate member of Floridian wildlife took a flight path right in front of the tallest and fastest roller coaster in Florida and collided with a local lady allegedly knocking her unconscious and causing her permanent facial injuries has made the news this week.
That’s right a duck struck the unfortunate rider at Sea World Orlando riding on ‘Maco’. She is suing the theme park because there were no warnings about dangerous conditions and for not maintaining the premises in a reasonably safe condition. Her legal firm are seeking to get over $50,000 compensation for the incident that occurred in March 2025.
There is no news however on the condition of the unfortunate duck!
‘Maco’ reaches speeds of up to 73mph and was constructed over a man made lake that teems with bird wildlife and apparently this isn’t an isolated incident at the Orlando park.
A trial by jury is set for 08 November 2027 if you are interested in following proceedings.
