The updates don’t stop with the new songs and all the bears have new costumes as well.
One of the voices is that of Mac McAnally a veteran of Country Music and a 10 time CMA musician of the year. He is singing Bear Necessities and Fixer-Upper.

I met Mac McAnally in London at C2C at the O2. I was on a Grand Ole Opry background set to promote the Tour Operator I was working for at the time in conjunction with the Tennessee CVB. We were offering free entry to a draw for a tour that included Nashville and Memphis and on the stage nearby there were short sets by performers that included Mac McAnally. Visitors were invited to line up for autographs and the line was behind our area and Mac McAnally was going to be
on the set of the Grand Ole Opry to meet and greet his fans.
Except the organisers hadn’t told us that was the plan.
So after following the lead of the stewards we were directing fans to go behind the set and line up. All of a sudden there was a bearded man in front of me with a lady who was talking for him. She just said ‘Mac McAnally’ and I said that he had to join the line with the others and wouldn’t let them passed me. She repeated herself and I insisted that they follow the others. Then the bearded man said that he is Mac McAnally I paused a moment for the penny to drop and extended my hand to him to say hello. How embarrassing!. He then climbed up to the backdrop of the Grand Ole Opry and patiently greeted his fans and waited until everyone had had the opportunity to meet their hero.
