Although Brightline’s Orlando International brand new train station has been completed it will still be a month or so before the proposed service that will join Tampa with South Florida’s cities of Miami, Fort Lauderdale and West Palm Beach. Tickets will be going on sale in May.

Having this high speed rail option to travel through the Sunshine State will be a great addition to holiday plans of the millions of visitors to central Florida.

The Orlando SunRail service is going to operate in and out of the new station allowing commuters and visitors alike to arrive into Orlando and get around without a car. It might keep cars off the roads of course but there is still no news of the abandoned plans of a rail station at Disney Springs.
