They thought it was all over! Massive publicity was made by Walt Disney Parks and Casinos in Las Vegas that guests who had been double vaccinated were no longer mandated to wear masks indoors.

It didn’t last long and now Nevada has reintroduced restrictions across the state that masks must be worn indoors in counties where there is high transmission.

Cases across America are rising and both sides of the country have necessitated the reintroduction of masks at both Disneyland and Walt DisneyWorld.

The UK Government announced that Americans are welcome to enter the UK without any need to quarantine on arrival if both jabs have been made. So happy travels to Britain if you are allowed to travel, after the USA put the UK on their Red Travel List. The reverse is still not possible as UK travellers are not currently allowed into America.

Cruise travel has slowly started up again but it was reported earlier that a passenger onboard Celebrity Millennium in a news report from Juneau has tested positive for Covid and was privately flown home. The passenger had been double vaccinated and it appears their contacts tested negative. Last month the same ship reported two positive cases.

As the urge to travel is enormous there are still plenty of reasons to be cautious about planning an international trip.
