Disney have lost billions since closing all their owned hotels and parks around the world. As countries deemed to have past the peak of the pandemic start to slowly introduce the ‘new normal’ to see if the ‘R’ rate remains low corporations are deciding on how to proceed.

Apparently Shanghai Disneyland is opening on Monday 11 May with limited capacity to try and keep social distancing a thing. In Florida Disney Springs is going to allow the third party retailers to open again with social distancing and hygiene measures paramount to the decision. So 20 May looks like the date that some normality to central Florida is to return. If this first experiment works then the organisation will look to open up the theme parks.
