With the Pandemic causing the air traffic between Europe and USA to be shut down it seems that arriving Americans especially at Dallas Fort Worth and Chicago O’Hare were subject to horrendous delays on their arrival. There were some reporting delays to get through Homeland Security of up to 10 hours. The worrying thing was that all arriving passengers were lining up together and crowded into arrival halls.

The delays were caused by compulsory Coronavirus screening before being allowed into the country. It is strange that the St Patrick’s Day weekend was decimated with bars, restaurants and parades closed or cancelled and yet air travellers were crowded in their thousands probably mingling with spreaders of the virus.
