MGM Resorts Return to Capacity

The Nevada Gaming Control Board has granted permission to MGM Resorts to operate their Casino floors at 100% capacity with no further social distancing rules. Outside of the gaming areas the 80% capacity restriction will still apply. This includes restaurants and pool areas.

It seems that at last Las Vegas is bidding farewell to Covid-19. MGM Resorts was granted the waiver after it agreed to prioritise vaccinating it’s work force. MGM Resorts has opened a free walk-in vaccination clinic at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center as well as pop-up clinics at each of it’s Las Vegas properties. The Nevada State’s mask mandate does remain in force though.

Other casino operators, Caesars and Station Casinos also have been granted permission to increase gaming capacity to 100%.
