If Walmart can show shoppers on their website what precautions are in place to encourage social distancing and hygiene during this ‘new normal’ why can’t Simon Malls do the same?
On their website you can search for a center and if you scroll down the page of each property is a section on what Simon Malls are doing for their communities but not about the safety and cleanliness of their shopping experiences.
They opened up 77 properties in May during the outbreak of the pandemic and by the end of June 199 had reopened. The corporation has 204 properties across 37 states and reportedly are struggling with retailers not paying rent or closing down altogether.
I just was surprised that their website doesn’t show shoppers that it is still safe to visit as do other websites.
When I do get to visit the States again it will be a different experience.
